Rêve Academy Featured on Fox 9!

Fox 9 featured our Rêve Academy  STEP-UP Achieve interns on the news last night!

Fox 9 reporter, Karen Scullin, introduced the story by speaking
about how Rêve Academy  Rêve Consulting co-founders, Brad von Bank + Kristin
Pardue, are working to bridge the digital divide here in Minneapolis: “With
online sales only predicted to grow, a Twin Cities business is working on a
possible solution to solve the worker shortage.”

The story shows how one team of
Rêve Academy interns (Rêve Retail) coordinated a pop-up shop to sell apparel
under the brand name,  fit’d. Fox
9 also highlighted the other Rêve Academy team (Rêve Dev) and their work
developing a website for 13 businesses along Lowry Avenue in North
Minneapolis.

“Putting so much trust in
the students is  Rêve Academy, a
Minneapolis non-profit connecting kids to digital skills,” continued Fox 9
anchor, Jeff Passolt, “Skills major companies are searching for in
employees.”
