Carrying the Mission Forward

In 2010, as we left our corporate careers to pursue entrepreneurship, we felt called to launch Rêve Academy. We were inspired by students we had served through earlier experiences and by the need to prepare a new generation of digital leaders.

What began as a pilot program with six students in a small conference room grew to serve more than 25,000 students over the next 15 years. Along the way, Rêve Academy became the first out-of-school program of its kind to earn national accreditation, align its curriculum with Minnesota Career and Technical Education standards, and receive college-level accreditation.

The list of people and organizations deserving our thanks is extensive. At the risk of leaving someone out, we want to express our collective gratitude to everyone who believed in our mission and generously contributed their time, talent, or resources to help transform students’ lives.

Two years ago, as we began considering the next chapter of our personal lives, we also sought to ensure that the mission of Rêve Academy would continue. That exploration quickly led us to a world-class organization with which we had built a strong and trusted partnership over many years.

We are thrilled to share that the mission of Rêve Academy will carry forward through the University of St. Thomas. Students will continue to benefit from this highly valuable program, now supported by a respected institution that shares our values and commitment to their success.

We could not be more excited about the future. We hope everyone who has been part of the Rêve Academy journey takes pride in what we accomplished together. We have always worked hard to be faithful stewards of your belief in our mission.
