04 Sep North Side Exchange Celebration

This summer four North Minneapolis organizations collaborated to
provide integrated programming for three-­‐dozen North Minneapolis youth (ages
16-­‐18). Each Friday, the students would rotate to each program learning some
of the most important skills needed for today’s global knowledge economy.

By
working together, the organizations leveraged what they did well to augment
those specialties and build upon one another to create a richer experience for
the students.

30 students who completed
the program received a Google Chromebook during the celebration and close out to
the summer for meeting the performance and attendance requirements.

It was an amazing summer for our students, we had a great time
partnering with Cookie Cart, Emerge and Building
Blocks to make the summer special for the students who went through the
program.
