20 May Rêve Academy Moves to New Office in Northeast Minneapolis

After five years of serving kids and clients from its North Minneapolis location, Rêve Academy and Rêve Consulting are moving a larger office that will accommodate twice as many student interns, expand community involvement, and allow both organizations to grow in size and scope.

Rêve Consulting and Rêve Academy share the same mission: to help people and organizations dream with direction. We’ve helped over 3,000 students create pathways to digital careers, and our consulting results are just as impressive. But after five years in our popular North Minneapolis location, it became clear that our vision was bigger than the building.

That’s why Rêve Consulting and Rêve Academy are pleased to announce their new co-located office in the historic Highlight Center of Northeast Minneapolis. It offers a spacious open floor plan and a welcoming atmosphere for both clients and students as they seek creative solutions.

Kristin Pardue, CEO and Co-Founder of Rêve Consulting, said, “There’s a lot to love in our new space, but I’m most excited about the Dream Lab. It’s a gorgeous, light-filled room that’s designed to limit distractions and enhance creativity. We’ve already leveraged it for a three-day Agile service design client session and are eager for other corporate teams to have the chance to experience it.”

The new office also features a Maker Station for students to build 3D prototypes, create project plans, and collaborate on business ideas. The Academy’s Digital Studio is now just steps away from students’ workstations. They use the studio each week to learn computer skills on state-of-the-art hardware and software programs.

Amanda Janssen, Director of Academic Excellence at Rêve Academy, said, “This summer we’ll have room for 24 paid summer interns, compared to the 11 we had last year. And since our workspace has tripled in size, they’ll be doing digital and hands-on work all in the same space. It’s a great way to prepare them for the modern digital workforce.”

Members of the community can experience these spaces through Rêve Labs: intensive 1 – 3 workshops that help teams clarify direction, generate ideas, and lay a foundation for long-term success. Individuals are also invited to attend Rêve Reflect, a local gathering where innovators, makers and adventurers share their insights.

Instead of only reaching kids in North Minneapolis, now students all over the Twin Cities and beyond are experiencing what Rêve Academy has to offer.”
